Community Solar Feasibility Study and Pilot

Imagine if your local school, community centre, or place of worship could generate its own electricity and even contribute back to the national grid. This pilot initiative explores the potential for community owned solar installations.

We begin by identifying and mapping public buildings that are suitable for solar panels. Through consultations and workshops, local residents are actively involved in design decisions and planning. The outcome is a regional blueprint that guides the rollout of clean energy projects across the area.

This study not only helps us understand what is possible but also demonstrates how energy systems can be owned by the people they serve.

Green Home Audit and Switch Campaign

This campaign is focused on empowering households, especially in low income neighbourhoods, to take control of their energy use and reduce costs.

We offer free or low cost home energy assessments carried out by trained professionals. Residents receive help switching to affordable green tariffs and can access exclusive discounts on insulation, solar installations, and smart home technologies through our network of partners.

The programme removes the barriers to greener living by making it accessible, understandable, and affordable for all.

Energy Champions Programme

Climate action starts with awareness and spreads through collaboration. The Energy Champions Programme trains the next generation of community leaders in sustainability.

Participants attend workshops covering climate change, energy efficiency, and the latest green technologies. They then gain practical experience by running school sessions, delivering home energy checks, and supporting local events. Every participant earns a certificate and gains skills that support career paths in the green economy.

This initiative unlocks local potential and provides people with the confidence to lead the change from within their own communities.

Energy Efficiency Programme

Energy waste often hides in plain sight. Old heating systems, poor insulation, and outdated appliances all contribute to higher bills and carbon emissions.

Our programme helps homeowners and small business owners uncover these inefficiencies and resolve them. We conduct detailed energy audits tailored to each building and provide support in implementing upgrades such as draught proofing, efficient lighting, and smart heating.

As a result, communities see real savings, improved comfort, and a meaningful reduction in environmental impact.

Sustainable Transport

Transportation is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions. This project supports the transition to cleaner, more accessible travel solutions.

We promote the adoption of electric vehicles through community events, guidance on government grants, and help with installing local charging points. In addition, we encourage walking and cycling by supporting safer route design and active travel schemes.

By making clean transport practical and desirable, we improve local air quality and contribute to a healthier urban environment.

Renewable Energy Education

Young people hold the key to a sustainable future. This programme brings renewable energy education into schools, libraries, and community centres through interactive, engaging sessions.

We deliver hands on workshops that include solar panel demonstrations, energy experiments, and creative activities designed to build environmental literacy. Participants learn how clean energy systems work, why they matter, and what role they can play in building a greener world.

Teachers, youth workers, and volunteers are also trained to deliver ongoing sessions, ensuring lasting impact.

Waste to Energy Project

Landfill waste is not just a challenge. It is an untapped energy resource. This project explores how community waste can be converted into clean energy that powers homes and public spaces.

We partner with engineers, researchers, and local authorities to trial solutions including anaerobic digestion of food waste, small scale biomass systems, and recovery of waste heat from community buildings.

The goal is to reduce landfill, lower emissions, and create decentralised energy systems that turn problems into power.

Green Roof Initiative

Creating living roofs that cut building energy use, reduce stormwater runoff and transform urban spaces into green zones.

This initiative focuses on integrating green infrastructure into urban settings by installing vegetation-covered rooftops on residential, commercial and public buildings. These living roofs not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of dense cityscapes but also provide practical environmental benefits.

By acting as natural insulation, they help reduce heating and cooling demands, cutting energy consumption and emissions. They also absorb rainwater, easing pressure on drainage systems and lowering the risk of urban flooding. Additionally, green roofs create new habitats for pollinators and improve local air quality.

Through pilot projects, community engagement, and partnerships with local authorities and architects, the Green Roof Initiative is showcasing how cities can become cleaner, cooler and more resilient one rooftop at a time.
